Trouble with Trapdoors

Pretty decent piece of animation, liked the humor and the writing, but I have to say I'm not a huge fan of the new style. There was something meta about this shadowy illuminated figure behind a desk giving out half assed orders and actively sabotaging an empire we have to assume he created. Now it seems he is far more animated with his gestures and the illumination is just not doing it for me. I'll wait to render and judgment on the new mastermind character style until after 6. It's nice to see something new from you so I can't complain to much, let's just hope it's not another 6 months before we see you again.

[Blockhead: Episode 11]

Finally...

It's been a while, but we finally get another blockhead, and it was epic. Sure it was different, but it had everything I love about the series ( and your work ) I especially liked the sing-songy way the script went ( that is if you bothered to notice ) It played to the Ghostmas nature of the episode. The musical beginning was very well done and proves you can still write em'. Damned if Blockhead didn't get darker tho, with his anti-conscience chiming in. It was comical, and added some depth to the character. One of my favorite lines was probably the most evil sounding, the one where he has the chainsaw ( you can hear the horrible implications in his voice ) There was a lot of referencing to previous eps, and series ( to bad it'll be a while tell we see RV ) Overall, if you don't like it much the first time, i strongly advise you watch it one more time. Midget Day Parade!!
